Crash, was the critical acclaim overblown?

Nope, not in my opinion.

A superb film, kept me riveted, several story threads, but all going somewhere.

The surface plot is about honest to goodness racism in all of its forms and from many angles, also stereotypes, but the sub plots are more complex and show that there is no such thing as all good or all bad, there are shades of grey.

If you haven't seen it, then watch it, I'm sure that I'll watch it again.

Absolutely brilliant movie. A movie with a message too. Surprised you've only just got round to watching it Rolf me owd. Must be a couple of years old now

Commander in Chief on DVD .. miss it at your peril. Don't let the title put you off either. No shootings, knifings, rape or pillage .. but powerful stuff indeed

oh and the ladies will love it also ;)

I tend not to watch series, as I can't be bothered to be tied down, but I make a point of it as it has Geena Davies.

I also tend to avoid watching holywood oscar hyped films, but this is one I'm glad i watched.
