Advice Needed Create a graph or diagram with circles, ovals or rectangular shapes on excel

Hi guys,

I know we got some very clever technical people here, so maybe someone can help me out and ppoint me to the right direction or program.
What I need is a simple graph or drawing that is showing lets say 3 types of shapes (round, oval or rectangle) spread out evenly on a rectangular shape depnding on 10 or so values that I will enter, see the image I drew up. I was hoping something like that could be made with Excel...

So, anyone with an idea?

If you create them all using "shapes" under the Insert menu and place them approximately where you want them you could try selecting a row of them or a column and use the "Distribute Horizontally" or "Distribute Vertically" option. It might take a few attempts to get them as you want but hopefully it will work?

If you get the top row distributed as you want and then the bottom row vertically aligned with the top row you should be able to then select each column and get them all aligned with even spacing?

PS:
I cannot claim credit for this if it works in excel, google was my friend.

Ask the question on one of those AI image sites, there are plenty.

You may have to adjust the parameters a couple of times - some offer hints :-wow - but eventually you wil get what you need.

Man, that is a great suggestion, I have to try to remember using these. I'll have a go at it!
