Andy Williams, popular singer of the 1960's, has died aged 84.

Best remembered for his Oscar-winning song 'Moon River', he had several other hits of the period, including 'Can't Get Used To Losing You' and 'Music to Watch Girls Go By'.

I remember his TV show on the BBC with some affection. I think I'm right in saying that his signature tune, Moon River, was actually a hit for Danny Williams, certainly here in the UK.

RIP Andy.

Also remember his show with affection, most famous artists of the time passed through and took part in sketches, which were generally quite amusing, seem to remember Captain Weird being one of my favourites.

My favourite of his songs was Home Lovin' Man.

RIP Andy. I too remember his tv show, which I think introduced us to the Osmonds.

Yes RIP Andy, it would be interesting to know just how many songs he recorded in his very long career
