Are there only a handful of "basic" crypt algo's that exist in the crypt world? Like did SECA make their Mediaguard algorithm from scratch, or did they use a standard algo and then modify it? How many good algorithms exist and are used today? Is the algorithm used for decrypting the op-key in a CAS the same algo used to decrypt the video/audio signal in that CAS?
