Yes, but there is nothing interesting you can do with it now.
About a year ago there were funcard files that could clear the old nagra1 channels with a converted aston103 cam. The providers kept increasing the speed of the encryption until eventually the funcard files stopped working.
Nearly everything now is in nagra2 and that is beyond the cability of the SCM nagra cam.
Hi I have just bought a second hand Aston CAM v1.03 and cannot get it to work in Sony crt TV. Not sure if TV not working it properly or whether I need to upgrade to NAGRAVISION. TV recognises existing card though I am unable to access set up option. Setanta card does not work with it
Consequently, I believe version of the card is the problem. Does anyone know how I can upgrade the CAM to Nagravision?
Setanta card has nagravision all over it and assumed I needed Nagravision CAM? Aston CAM is seca marked so are you saying my card should work with it? Or do I need an upgrade?
Yes I believe that to be the case but elsewhere I have been told Aston v1.05 works? Is there a way to upgrade my card or is hassle not worth it? I.E. Should I just buy a Nagra CAM?
If you can find a setanta cam buy one of those. It will be guaranteed to work. An Aston 1.05 is seca - Ive got one myself lying around somewhere from years ago.
You do realise Setanta via DTT is the expensive way of watching Sultana dont you? Only one channel when the same money gets you all of them via satellite.
