cs-link card not working in oscam

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting a new unpaired cs-link card (caid=0666) working is oscam and was hoping for some help. Nothing to do with cs, this is a valid card that I want to use myself in a single receiver so I think that's ok to discuss here?

The card gets detected correctly in my dreambox 800se but is complaining of an incorrect cam key set regardless of if these are left blank or all zeros. My sky card works fine so I know oscam is partially working.

It doesn't help that I don't understand the language but a Czech forum (with the help of google translate!) suggests it should work but I've tried oscam-svn6465-mips-tuxbox-webif with their posted config and have the same key problem:

Being new to oscam, I'm probably missing something obvious but I've tried for days on this. Before I go and post in English on a Czech forum, can anyone here help me with getting this working?

You say it is an "unpaired card", what do you mean by unpaired, it doesnt need pairing to the box or it does need pairing to an official box but you just have not bothered?

If it`s a card thats ment to be paired to a box but it is currently unpaired, get it paired then try again in your dreambox

Do you not have access to an official CS Link box just to try the card in?

Does not need to be paired with official box but I know it needs to be activated.

Thanks for the replies. This may end up being a duplicate post - I replied a few hours ago but nothing is showing so I'm not sure if it's still waiting for a moderator.

As VKSEM said, afaik the card does not need to be paired with an official box. The card has been registered online and should be active but of course it isn't because oscam doesn't enable the card. I haven't put the card in an official box because, aside from not having one, I didn't want to risk this causing more problems. I can take my card to a friend with an official box if you think that will help?

Hello accod I do not know anything about dreamboxes but I know these cards and they just need a compatible receiver. I sujest that you try a Czech / Slovak forum which I vknow of. They might be able to help you

For anyone else having problems with this card, I found an oscam binary on a slovak forum that was posted a few days ago that has been modified to work with this card. I'm don't yet know what the differences are and if they'll be incorporated into svn but it does work:
