Hello! I'm a quite a rookie when it comes to computers. Hopefully someone here can help solve my issue. I have a DSL line coming in connected to my D-link 524 wireless router. From my router I have my wire going to my dream box. But for some reason I can not get my dreambox to work. Now when I switch to my other wireless router, Belkin, I don't have any problem what so ever getting my dreambox to work. I even bought a cheap splitter so one line can go directly to the DM-500 and the other going to the wireless router. It didn't work. I have windows XP on this computer. Am I missing something here? Why am I able to get my dreambox to work through my Belkin and not my D-link? Any help is greatly appreciated.

When I have Ethernet cable running from my extra port on the d-link 524 going to my dreambox 500 I am unable to received any channels. When I switch over to my other wireless router, Belkin, having a Ethernet cable from the extra port on the Belkin going to the dreambox all channels come in without a problem. Do I have to reconfigure settings on my D-link 524? I am connected to a Dish as well. I am able to get my regular Orbitz channels, but not the other channels. That's usually normally if I don't have any internet connected to my dreambox.

If you are cards sharing yes that may be the case but I am afraid I cannot help you not knowing how it has been set up. Perhaps it is just a simple DHCP server tickbox that needs changing but I have no idea.
