- Any idea yet of daily timings, or is the feed pretty continuous?
(Otherwise, I'm stuck with the short after-midnight slots on Eurosport on SlySport!)

These feeds Dakar TV1 & Dakar TV2 were active from 21:00 GMT both encrypted in Biss (Search with google for keys)

"Problem" solved - although I haven't been able to see anything being transmitted on that sat/frequency/SR/polarity so far this morning (did find a ref elsewhere to 11045 H S/R 6666, but nothing there either about 30 mins ago)

The symbol rate will change to 14400 when the Dakar feed on 11045 H becomes active again,

Other symbol rates will be used for feeds on 11045 H as with other frequencies on feed satellites as most frequencies that are leased for a few hours.

Thanks - thought it must be something like that. So, today's feeds haven't started yet - wonder what time they will?
BTW: that FTA start time of 10.45 that you gave in post #3 - was that GMT, or Peru local, which seems be 5hr later than UK local?

Thanks again - unfortunately what little hair I have left is currently disappearing fast!

I can plenty of channels that are definitely on 10E on the TM (using your latest list) AND on the SX88, but I can't get a whiff of 11046/H/SR14400 - even after I modded the SX88 transponder listing on that frequency to have the correct polarity/SR! Quite a few scans latter show 80% signal strength but 0% quality!

PS: the SX88 is still at as-delivered s/w version of 1.04.15, as I have yet to pluck the courage to go through the update to a later version!

Try adjusting your dish position I take it you are using the TD110 ?
SX88 go to Menu / Antenna settings
Press the green button edit & try + in Longitude to 10.2 E if it improves then try 10.4 ect if no signal increase then go the other way 9.8E ect
We have had a lot of wind gusts recently so try this until the weather warms up then you can venture out to re-align the dish.

Yes, I'm using the TD110, and I have already done what you suggested with both the SX88 & the TD positioner settings and the best signal levels on the "live" transponders on 10E are when the USALS setting is around 9.5E/9.6E on both receivers.

By comparison - on the SX88 - on 10756/V/2480 I'm seeing 81% Strength & 52% Quality, on 11221/V/30000 I'm seeing 85% & 64% respectively, & on 10962/H/2880 I'm seeing 81% & 33% respectively.

Could the above be indicative that I'm having issues with the Inverto Black Twin on the dish, in as much as could the H polarity output be low??

FWIW, about 0.3-0.5 deg is the sort of position "deviation" I've become used-to across certain parts of the arc since I set the TD110 up a couple of months ago (and it has been a case of "leave well alone" since then until the weather gets a lot better).

So, they are now 4:2:.2! sounds like the reason I can't see "anything". OTOH, I didn't see any signs of signals when scanning those frequencies that there were any "active" ones (regardless or not of whether they could be locked) there.

Dakar TV1 is not active atm
Dakar TV2 in 4:2:0 with NBCSN Dakar

Solo activo los canales, pero sin video, realice grabaciones para ver desde el PC.
Luego los activaron.

They did not have video channels
I only activate the channels, but without video, make recordings to watch from the PC.
Then they activated them.
