Never a huge fan but very sad news....RIP David....
 
Woke up to the terrible news this morning. Although I wasn't a fan of his later output this probably says more about me than him.

A huge talent and a huge loss. More of my early years now gone.

Only just woken up and went into kitchen to find SWMBO in tears.
 
I read about his passing about 10 minutes after it was announced, it's indeed sad, especially considering he only just turned 69, too young really...

Yet another familiar name gone...

Stunned, I did not know he was ill at all, whilst some of his music was not completely to my taste I still get goosebumps listening to Space Oddity, he was not a one hit wonder he was multitalented and had an alter ego Ziggy Stardust, he also had many other popular hits including:- "Heroes,” “Changes,” “Under Pressure,” “China Girl,” “Modern Love,” “Rebel, Rebel,” “All the Young Dudes,” “Panic in Detroit,” “Fashion,” “Life on Mars,” “Suffragette City”

So Sad. Space Oddity was one of my favorites.
A true Legend right to the end. He lived and died the way he wanted. A true Icon.
