My DB500S has just been returned from Germany again, and the tuner is not giving any output. I believe the fault could be in power supply unit.As it is now out of warranty, and I am sick of the sight of it, I wish to replace it. Can anyone recommed which twin tuner + hard drive m/c should I go for. ie Dreambox, Relook or tripledragon. I would like to stay with dreambox, if the 7 series are more reliable.

Had it just been repaired?

If so, the warranty should be on the repair and it should be returned to get fixed again.

What problems have you had and what was done about them?

If you're certain it's the tuner and you cannot get it repaired again then someone local may fix it or you could sell it online as a repair needed - someone will buy it.
