Please your help is kindly needed
A few months ago i sent my db 7020 to change the motherboard because the ethernet port was dead and i received it back repared but there is a problem with my hard disk. DB can not record or communicate with the disk.
i have a 200gb disk
connected: master
the status is: initialized, but unknown filesystem
So i did a format on windows because i couldn't do it from the DB
I put it back in the DB but nothis is working now. If i take it out the DB is working ok.
If this can help I have gemini 4.40 and mgcamd
somebody could help me please?
thank you

you will need to format it in the Dreambox mate :D

The DM uses a different file system to windows

to do it (Under S.I.F 1.9.3 , Should be the same in Gemini)

Menu ->6 then ->3 then ->4

You will then see Hard Disk setup

Press OK and you will see the hdd settings screen (Last piccie)

Press the Red button to format

Hey guys thank you fior reply

But sorry I dont understand what is to do.

When i put back the Hard Disk nothing is working...
When the hard disk is not connected the DM is working without it..

What should I do?
Their might be a hardware problem?

Thank you Guys

By saying that it is not working I mean the screen is on but without any access to any menu
