dead dragonloader card?

1m dish, dreambox 5620, technomate 5000ci and comag sl55 connected to a 80cm.

Hi, a mate gave me his dragon cam to update, got the various files (it is the funcard 7 type) dragonlod refused to read the card in phoenix 6mhz mode, so I tried it using the infinity software with my infinity usb programmer. Load funldr.hex into the flash, choose the dragonfirmware , reverse spanning etc, it fails to write to the card, says cannot detect cpu.

Can I assume the card is screwed?

P.S. tried the hex repair file same issue wont program to it.
 
Hi Ravenquest,
you could try using the infinity software and see if that revives it. Start your programmer, from the drop down box choose DragonloaderCard (AVR).
Leave the inbuilt loader and write. Now try loading the predator351.bin file into Ext EEprom, choose option 2, reverse span and write.

Hi there, thanks for the reply, I tried this but get the same "cannot write to device" error. Just to make sure it wasnt my programmer I tried an old titanium card and fun4 card and programmed these perfectly.
