Interesting discussion on Radio 4 tonight
The problems with ITVD funds, footie money promises and overall take up on service means government are thinking that the cut off date may be too soon for the majority of the public
This is either
1) good - we get a little while yet to change the TV for something thats not only functioning as it should do, but looks the part as well once DTT works as it should have done (ie integral, plasma, allowing different channels to be wiewed simultaneously and built into the house with no external cables)
or
2) Bad - Mr Murdoch walks away with whatever remains of the DTT industry and fleeces everyone in the country for another set of US repeat series over the next millenium.
Decisions, decisions - methinks some money might be made available from the friendly taxman !
