Diablo 2.2 to 2.3 upgrade

Are you having the same problem as Llew? If so you need to alter your firewall settings as the update program takes you straight to a secure site, which is often blocked by firewall or anti virus software.
If this isn't your problem can you please provide a little more information.

took firewall off, tried again from scratch, get to the 'continuing payment from site and then press 0k'. press the 'press here for pay' and nothing happens. left tfor a bit, but still stays on the same screen.

Check your anti virus or browser for any settings that might be stopping the connection, and check any pop up blocker software you might have running.
Perhaps the italian site is down, or having problems, but no one has reported this.
Keep trying, after altering your settings and post back.
If possible take a Screen Grab, using print screen, and post it.

Which browser are ou using? Is your default browser IE7 or are you using firefox, or something else?

how do i tell which version i am on. had a look about the menus but cant see anything which would tell me? dont mean to sound thick, never had to know before.

If you're using Vista you will have Internet Explorer 7, equally if you're using XP and have the updates then you should be using Internet Explorer 7.
As you've mentioned that you turned off pop up blocker, part of Internet Explorer 7 you must be using it.
Can you please take a screen grab of Diablo HW User Update, where it stops, by pressing the prtscn button on your keyboard, pasting it into any paint software and saving the image, then you can upload it as an attached image, as Llew did.
This might help us to solve the problem.

and then after one month,you need to upgrade again to rev 2.4,and pay again,or what,i dont think that this will work a long time!
first conax,was also working on rev 2.2,,what about older rev versions,its posible to upgrade them all,to the latest,or only 2,2?

Only 2.2 versions are mentioned probably because the upgrade plan was mainly to appease people who bought the cam recently due to canal digital being available, obviously they were very upset when a week later they were informed that it will now only be available on the new 2.3 version.
Adding the upgrade price brings the cost of the 2.2 in line with the 2.3 cam, but is a great bonus for anyone who has had the 2.2 cam for a lot longer.

There isn't exactly an update page.
You download the update software from diablocam.com, and then unpack it with winrar.
You then run the Diablo HW User Update 2.2 -2.3 program which takes you to a secure italian bank site where you fill in your credit card details.
Once that is done the program continues and you can update your cam.
Can't you borrow a credit card from someone and pay them the money?

Have you got the latest update software from diablocam.com?
This problem usually occurs because you are being redirected to a secure site and firewall or anti virus software might be stopping the connection.
Are you using Internet Explorer or another browser?
The server might be down to check this use the contacts option at diablocam.com or contact duolabs.
Please keep us updated with your progress.

My cam is already upgraded so I wont get that message as once payment has been made you skip that stage.
I had this problem when I upgraded my cam when the offer first came out, finally I got access about 2 AM, when the server was quiet.
I'll contact duolabs, on your behalf, to see if the server is down.

I had that message for several hours, but allowing the site through my firewall did the trick - or maybe it was just coincidental that the server came on stream at the same time (?)

I had AVG installed but removed it completly just in case, and the standard windows one is giving me warnings because its not activated and my computer iss at risk
