I'm not sure this is posted in the right section but here goes
I just bought a new flat screen for my bedroom and thought i'd treat myself to sky upstairs, so i went and bought the philex 4 room kit from Argos and wired it all up, it all worked fine, then it died, i just got a bad flicking pictue in the upper quarter of the screen!! i checked all the coax plugs and the coax itself, all fine. I checked all points along the splitter, again all ok, i then tried the old analogue aeiral socket and i get the same pictue fault, i now noticed the rear of the TV at the RF socket says 5v DC, now i'm not sure how accurate the info i have is but i'm sure RF2 is 9v out???? would this have killed my RF socket or not. There was no instruction manual with my Philex kit which meant no warnings too. If this is the case i'll try and get a refund on the tv but is there any way of transforming 9v RF to 5v RF??
Any help would be brilliant
