Is it known what phone number this is, or at least the dialing code (or is it 0800)? Also, on they ask for your Digibox phone number. Does this mean they dial INTO the digibox, instead of the usual FROM the digibox to Sky?rolfw said:Yes, go into the installers menu, services, system setup, 01select and go into telephone settings, dialling prefix..
What is meant by "multiple discounted subscriptions". Any examples?rolfw said:It is used for PPV and location verification for multiple discounted subscriptions.
My SKY box calls 08007317929. The number called is configured by SKY on a per viewing card basis. You cannot change it. The only thing you can do is prefix it with up to five digits.fredz85 said:My digibox is connected to a phone line that needs to dial a few numbers before every outgoing call. Is there a way to edit/change/add to the number Sky would dial from the Digibox? Thanks
BLUEPLATINUM said:If you are desparate to change the number then you can get cheap auto dialers that will dial a fixed number as soon as the SKY box modem goes off-hook. This means the same number will be dialled regardless of which service the SKY box thinks it is trying to connect to.
If you need a prefix of more than five digits, I beleive there are also auto-diallers that will simulate dial-tone, collect the dialled dogits and then dial them out with a pre-configured prefix.
