last post for tonight ..its late ..
Cricket feed captured from Jamaica..

West Indies V India

Intelsat 805 at 55.5°W

...Checked this feed again this morning ...
Still active and still scans as Digicel Cricket ..
But unlike other dedicated feeds it continues to show programming ....
what appears to be a compilation of West Indies /Caribbean programming ..with occasional music videos interpersed.

Almost a TV channel in itself.

hi VS i dont know if you got these channels i picked up today channel 11 3721V 3333 also ometz tv 1 3678V 3700 HD both in clear.

Hi Pride ..
Sorry to be so late getting back to you ..
The rain has been horrendous here ..and the water table didn't allow it to clear quickly ..so the telecoms service pit at the base of the telegraph pole flooded ..
Net result ...no 'Net access for 2 days ..
occasionally I got access as it dried out ...but at less than dial up speeds.

Anyway ...got round to checking these 2 channels ..
ometz tv 1 3678V 3700 is still there at a good solid 8.7 db (87% Q)...but no picture or sound ..also I have this scanned as Vertical ?
presumably this is a feed ?
..and currently nothing on but a carrier ?

The other channel .. 11 3721V 3333 .....which I also tried in Horizontal ...due to the possible difference in lnb orientation ..
Absolutely nothing ?
Is this also a feed ..and is it still there on your system ?

This is one channel which has eluded me since the dish fell and was ressurected...
I used to get it ok ....but usually in the earlier part of the year ...pre summer ..
Its a tricky one due to its high fec ...7/8

But I know I've managed it it the past on less sensitive receivers..

Now that the ESX lnb has been fitted I thought I'd try again ...but the signal is a variable 4 db > 5 db ..
A fraction more and I believe it would lock ..

Perhaps on a clear night ...maybe ....or perhaps I'll have to wait till later in the year.
Maybe the dish is not as perfect as it once was ..so maybe it will elude me forever.

hi VS i tried to get this transponder but no luck high SR number i expect thats stops us receiving it plus power may be down.on your new lnbf the esx where have you placed the tee plate between the probes or below both probes as there are two settings.

Sorry Pride ...not following you on this one ..
No plate in at all as this bird is H/V ?

Once I set this correctly..I then orientate the plate so that Left becomes Horizontal ...and Right becomes Vertical ..when using the lnb on a circular polarised signal..
