Digital out from radio channels?

Hi folks

Just got my 7020-S 160Gb today and have been playing around with it on Astra 28 (my Sky dish) until the new dish arrives next week.

I am having probs getting an AV receiver lock on audio on the optical out - I want to be able to pipe radio and whatever else through my system.

I get the odd snippet of audio, about 0.5 sec every 2 secs or so - like the AV aint locking on the optical signal.

Have checked and unchecked the AC3 setting in the menu etc.

Any ideas?

turns out that digital out IS being send when listening to a radio channel - it looks like my AV receiver is not partying for some reason as a dedicated stereo HiFi DAC I have locks to the signal fine!

Now all I need to do is to try and get DVD VOB files to pump out AC3....hmmm
