I currently have a fixed 80cm dish with a monoblock pointing at hotbird and astra.
it look slike there is enough channels on digital alb and the satellites at 7east to convince me to buy a motor (last nights england game feed for instance). will i be able to pick up these wioth my 80cm dish. i live in the midlands

I would say that 80cm is ok for digital alb in your location, but only just. Poor weather will be a problem.

Feeds are not as easy as you think. Almost all the useful football feeds are encrypted. Any match exclusively on Sky will always be encrypted, as was last night's feed. A lot of other feeds will not be possible with a 80cm dish.
