Hi, I have heard that you can receive DirecTV on a DVB board. Can anyone verify this? The person that told me this said it is on the net but NOT easy to find.
Can anybody enlighten me on this? Fact or fiction?

Thank you very much for your reply.

If you are in Europe, you certainly cant get DirectTV direct via satellite, as most of the satellites carrying the service are below our western horizon. The few above the horizon are firing their signals onto the continental USA, so cant be received in Europe without a monster dish in the garden. If you are in the US, you really need to ask the question on an American satellite forum as you are much more likely to find someone who knows the American scene..
