Hi all,
I've been struggling for a while now to get the below setup to work.

_http://px.wporzo.pl/lnb
http://px.wporzo.pl/lnb
the 2-port diseqc is a 2.0 one
Twin LNB (13E/19.2E) says 1.0

I don't really understand the Command Byte rules, but here's what I've got so far:
Code:
[LEFT]S13E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F0] W244 [E0 10 38 F0] W15 t
S13E 99999 V 10600 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F1] W244 [E0 10 38 F1] W15 T
S13E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F2] W244 [E0 10 38 F2] W15 t
S13E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F3] W244 [E0 10 38 F3] W15 T

S19.2E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F0] W244 [E2 10 03 E4] W15 [E0 10 38 F4] W15 t
S19.2E 99999 V 10600 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F1] W244 [E2 10 03 E4] W15 [E0 10 38 F5] W15 T
S19.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F2] W244 [E2 10 03 E4] W15 [E0 10 38 F6] W15 t
S19.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F3] W244 [E2 10 03 E4] W15 [E0 10 38 F7] W15 T

S28.2E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F4] W15 t
S28.2E 99999 V 10600 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F5] W15 T
S28.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F6] W15 t
S28.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F7] W15 T

[/LEFT]

With these settings I've got 13E and 28.2E working, but I get No Signal on 19.2.
Is it even possible to cascade them two like that?

Please help! :)

No you can't cascade, as when you select the 1st port of the switch it will also chose the 1st port of the mono block. You have no way of selecting the 2nd port.

Some SAT-related hardware.

This is not Twin LNB you have, that is mono-block. Yes, better is to get rid of it and replace by two separate LNBs. Then use simple 1/4 Diseqc to connect all your LNBs to receiver.

If you want the ease of the monoblock, then there is an adjustable monoblock , it doesn't have a switch inside. Octagon do one.

Thanks for you replies.
Here's what I want to achieve:
1. First tuner - needs only Hotbird 13E
2. Second Tuner - needs Hotbird 13E and Astra19.2E
3. HTPC - needs Hotbird 13E, Astra 19.2E and Astra 28.2E

Here's the stuff I own:
1. LNB Monoblock Quad (13E/19.2E)
2. Two sat dishes
3. 2 port diseqc (2.0)
4. LNB Monoblock (13E/19.2E)
5. One or two single LNB's

How can I achieve what I want using the above or what else do I need?

Regards,

Ahh ok, you need separate Lnbs then.

1 quad ( hot bird)
1 twin (19e)
1 single(28e)

You need 2 diseqc switches

1 x 2 way (2nd tuner)

1 x 4 way ((htpc)

You also need a bracket to hold the two Lnbs.( or make your own)

hmm.. how about I keep that Quad as it is and leave all three devices connected to it. By doing that, both tuners have HB/ASTRA 19.2E, which is cool. I have HB of it (no chance of having ASTRA 19.2 via diseqc) and 28.2E from a single LNB.
Now, the only problem that remains unsolved is my access to ASTRA 19.2E (htpc). I was thinking, is it possible to have Astra 28.2E and Astra 19.2E on one sat dish? Will I be able to obtain a decent reception? If yes is the answer all I'd need is a 4x1 diseqc, right?

Thought you had a dish for 28e already.

Possible here of course, but doubt it in Poland.

Yes, you could try wiring up the switch and monoblock like that, connect two outputs of the monoblock to the 1st two ports of the diseqc 4-way, could work.

You were right, 28e dish is already up - and that's the dish I'd like to add another single LNB to and point it to Astra 19.2e if there's a chance it would work.

Yes 28e and 19e is possible on a single dish. An 80cm roughly needed here.
