My Satellite Setup
Humax HDR1100S Freesat Recorder. Octagon UHD satellite box with Gibertini 1m motorised dish. Triax TD78 for Freesat. Triax TD64 for Freesat to 3 rooms. 2 Panasonic Freeview+ HD recorders.

HI ALL!

We have two 32 inch Panasonic TV's (Not Vestel) and both have a HD Satellite tuner. What is getting me puzzled is that there does not seem to be a DISEQC setting! I really want to put Astra 1 and Astra 2 on a DISEQC switch on my wife's TV in the bedroom. Can anyone help with this problem please? I find it hard to believe that two Freesat TV's don't have a setting. Hidden menu perhaps?

If the satellite mode on the television is Freesat branded it may well be hobbled to only work with the Freesat service. Is there any sign of a non-Freesat mode in the menu? On my Humax Foxsat Freesat receiver DiSEqC options are only available in non-Freesat mode and even then only via a secret menu. What is the model number of the TV?
 
Yah the model number of the TV will help quite a bit.

Buy the cheapest non branded satellite box for something motorised / or multi satellite and plug into the back of the TV with HDMI cable.
