Dish Advice Multi sat's

My Satellite Setup
PC with a freeview tv card, wanting to fit a satellite card and connect to plasma tv
My Location
NE England
Please excuse me if I'm asking stupid questions that have been asked previously, I know almost nothing about satellite, I've been reading quiet a lot on what I may need, here's what I would like to do please note that I haven't bought anything yet and don't have a dish at the moment. We are looking at the panasonic's with a freesat tuner built into the tv, as my PC is back to back (through the wall) to the tv I'm wanting a sat tv card (twin tuner maybe) for the pc, this got me wondering could we get reception from 2 sats 28.8E and 19.2E/13E or similar (NE England), the kit I think I would need is

80cm Mesh dish ( I think a solid would blow away)
Twin lnb arm
2 twin (output) lnb's
shotgun cable x2
dish brackets/pole etc

So coming to the point,
1. is it possible to receive channels from 2 sats with those tv's (diseqc switch maybe?)
2. are there any channels worth watching on sats other than freesat
3. is the above dish/kit what I need

Welcome to the forum Will1.

Dish with LNb offset bracket required for reception of 28e and 19e / 13e or possibly all three satellites (13e, 19e & 28e). Two DiSEqC switches required. A TD88 or similar should do it. Also might be worth getting a quad LNb for Astra2/28e so if needed you could add extra freesat receivers. Not sure regarding DiSEqC 1.0 on the Panasonic's.
 
You should be able to get all three satellites on a good quality 80/90cm dish, just need a couple of four way DiSEqC switches. I'm not sure how easy it is to receive non-Freesat satellites with the Panasonic though, there is a thread on the forum regarding this.

That will NOT be a "mesh dish" but a perforated dish (mesh dishes are only used on C band reception) and the difference in wind resistance to a solid dish is absolutely minimal as the holes are too small to let a signifcant amount of air through. If the holes were large enough to make a difference then its performance would be substantially lower.

Oh I see, well that bit of advice is perfectly timed as I'm about to compile a list of the kit I will need, thanks.
 
After a good while googling it seems the only way to possibly switch between satellites with the tv is with a manual switch??? not a DiSEqC switch (think I'll contact panasonic and ask), what are peoples thoughts on this? and if possible where to buy a switch?
 
A/B Switch. Have you tried the site sponsors?
