what kind of chances do i ahve with putting my 1metre dish in my loft? and getting a signal, and being able to pooit to different satellites using my motor?

i am in the uk/birmingham

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Unless you have a section of the roof which is covered by some sort of radio wave friendly plastic or glass fibre, you will have no luck. Signals at 10Ghz plus will not travel well through slate or tile, people have managed it through glass and plastic, but you would also require a lot of luck to have a roof with a surface pointing in generally the right direction.

working in staffs moorlands
stick it to the out side wall m8 get sum bolts from an hard wear shop unless u got sum.
