I'm wondering if you can buy clamps for sky mini dishes so they can be attached to a steel drainpipe. Anyone know?

Show picture of the back of your dish and also picture of drainpipe. Measure diameter of that pipe.

They will be something out there to make it work, but what's wrong with your brick wall ?.

Steel? Are you sure its not cast iron? If its cast iron its very brittle and could well shatter if you try to do the clamps up too tightly....

Many years ago I clamped two 60cm dishes on to a cast iron drain pipe using large jubilee clips but it was a student rented place so couldn't drill into the walls. Not ideal but it worked as a temporary measure for a couple of years. Must admit it never crossed my mind the pipe might be brittle.

Could you get away with banging a fencepost into the ground next to the house wall and bolt the dish to that instead??

You can get a bracket for a zone one minidish to attach it to a pole

Last year the outside of the houses on my estate had rendering work done and when the scaffold went up 2 lads in a van come round, removed all the sky minidishes and fitted them with pole mounts to fix them to the outside of the scaffolding.

I'm not sure if you could get them the correct diameter for a drain pipe but it's got to be worth a shot

[EDIT]
Look in B&Q for large U bolts, see if you can make your own bracket
