Hello
just wanted to let you know that I have managed to setup the dish to receive Freesat
. I was able to use the Oyster system on the camper van to find Astra 2 and receive a strong signal.I then tried to match the house dish to the camper bearing in mind the camper is parked the other side of the house it was a long job. I was about 10 seconds away from giving up when all of a sudden I got a picture(happy days). All the bits of info I received from yourselves certainly helped and at the end of the day saved me some money. Thanks a lot.
Just a bit more info needed (theres always a catch)!!!!!
We have a Philips ambi light TV with 2 scart plug sockets and a Panasonic DVD recorder with 2 scart plug sockets.
We are using the Dutch receiver which we want to keep and use the Freesat receiver alongside it. Can I plug both receivers into the back of the TV and the one we want to use is turned on with the remote. I really do not want to have to unplug one and plug the other in when we want to swap receivers. If any more info neede please let me know.
