I am wondering if anyone can advise please.I have an 80cm motorised dish located in my back garden at ground level with a cable run of between 25 and 30 metres. I can currently get astra, hotbird, eurobird and hispasat ok but have had trouble in getting eutelsat. Although I do get a signal it is not strong enough to scan in any channels. I have thought of installing a taller mounting pole so that I can lift the dish a little higher and also wondered whether it would be worthwhile in putting an in line signal booster. So can anyone advise if they think this might be helpful or perhaps suggest any other way of improving my eutelsat signal. One last thing my lnb is dual polarity.thanks all

No in line amp for a 25mtr run, you'll just introduce noise within the system.
More likely another fault, like dish mis-alignment/line of sight problems.

What satellite positions are you having problems with?

Your dish is too small to get 16E properly, you need a good 1m I believe, in your region.

Also check dishpointer for your elevation angle, and ensure that you have line of site for the whole dish.

One strong transponder is 10957H, which really you should be getting whatever, try adjusting the dish position with the motor and by a gentle hand on the dish.
