Can anyone advise whether an 80cm dish will pick up FoxTurk on 33 E in the Newcastle area?

It would do but you will be on the limit. If it's possible to go to a 1 metre dish which would not require planning permission it would be so much better.

This far north 90 cm is really the limit for fine weather reception of FS on 33E. However having said that, give it a try (on a sunny afternoon - but expect the signal to disappear at the merest hint of rain.)

Try 11513H 30000... very strong TP near Sky signal (quality) strengh ... but it's skyDSL/cableDSL so you wont get a picture!.. it will verify you are on 33e... and you can try from there..we get it on 78cm in Cheshire.. 78%+ but the TV channels are weather permiting and very inclination/ skew/ line of site sensitive etc..
