dish size for intelsat 1w

Hi everyone,
i need to know what dish size is required to receive inelsat 10-02 1w
in cairo, egypt ?

You can check the various satellite footprint maps, on lyngsat and kingofsat, but these tend to only give an approximate size.
Different channels broadcast on different beams, so you will need to check each beam of the channels you wish to view.
e.g. if you wnat to view the Digi TV package, check the page on lyngsat:

Then click on the link under the Beam heading, which will provide a map:

I think down in Cairo you can forget trying to pick up up Thor and Intelsat at 1 degree west. You are not in the satellite's footprint.

Well cannot say to be honest as I have only ever been once however I did once hear a tale about there being lots of camels in Bristol, or was that donkeys?:-Cgrin
