I have a Technomate TM-1500 CI super, motorised 80cm technomate dish. The picture quality of the Tring channels is pretty good apart from the pixelation I am getting every few seconds. I am thinking about getting a 100 cm dish to see if this would get rid of the pixelation but just wanted to check to see if anybody knows if this would help before I go out and buy a new dish. My signal strength at moment is Level 95% Quality 75%

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well I think you'd be right to consider upping the size.

I may even be able to help you out with a dish as my TD110 doesn't get much use and is clogging up my patio while we are trying to sell our house.

But with that Quality level, I'm surprised you get any pixellation ............... unless you are getting some L Band interference.

Yes, 75% is a reasonable quality level on a TM1500 super, I'm surprised that you get pixelation. You could try a different LNB, maybe yours is on its way out. Try the Inverto Black Ultra. It could save you having to go to the expense and hassle in changing over your dish.

Also, could it be wind, or do you always have the problem?

It happens even when it isn't windy. I think I may take a look at replacing the LNB first.

I would be very suprised if you are getting that quality on a 80cm dish on 15.8E , the signal indicator in the box is not true , personally i dont go lower than 90cm as when ive fitted dishes up north 80cm only pull 50% max in good weather at best unless you have 1 of the 3 top make dishes fr penta Gilbertini Hirshmannn, with inverto ultra, i would go for a 90cm orbital at least

50% signal quality on a TM1500 super is way below its reception threshold and would pick up absolutely nothing. 75% is a middle of the road signal quality for Tring transponder, on a TM1000 super series.

I was wondering if you are still able to help out with a dish and if so how much do you want for it?

Thank you
