My Satellite Setup
sattelite setup-
Dreambox 500s
Dreambox 7020s
2 X maximum 4 in disecq switches
1 triax78 dish on hotbird 13e
1 televes 60cm on hipasat 30w
1 minidish on astra 19.2e
cabling is all webro wf100 coaxial


computer setup-
amd athlon dual core

good morning everyone,
could anyone tell me what size dish i would need to get hobird 13 e. i live in london. i was thinking of using a quad lnb, or a monoblock. but also could any one tell me the difference is between the two lnbs?

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

A 60cm will be fine in london, you can even do it on 45cm.

A quad LNB serves four different receivers with signal from the same satellite, or two twin tuner receivers.

A monobloc looks at two satellites from the same dish, you could have Astra 19.2 and Hotbird on the same receiver without moving the dish.
