My Satellite Setup
Technomate 1500CI super, 78cm solid dish, 0.2db LNB, HP Pentium4 PC with XP Home. Foretec Star Lifetime Diamond (more trouble than it's worth)

The UK planning laws with regard to satellite dishes was changed around September 2006 (i think). Yesterday, on radio 2 Steve Wright (font of all knowledge) claimed the rules had been relaxed, and we can install any sized dish on or about our house. I think he's wrong. You can check out his comments via bbc.co.uk/radio2. Look for his show, and it was about 2.55pm when they discussed the item.:-pachrist

We have a sticky thread here, which outlines the new guidelines.

You cannot put up anything you want, you can have a 1m dish and a 60cm dish and there are restrictions as to where they can be mounted.
