Haven't heard of this one Henrik, but I can see that it would be useful.

Can you not use the web interface to check the signal levels move the motor and do all the things you can on the TV?

All you need is a connection to the DreamBox and a web browser.

The instructions are in the stickies at the top of the Dreambox forum.

I have used it several times. Just use the web interface and the control/sat finder option. Before doing it, it is a good idea to note the frequency to check because the frequency is not set correctly in the sat finder (if you come from the zap function, the frequency of the tuned channel is lost).

Crumbs, didn't realise it could do that, what an excellent tool for someone with a laptop and wifi. :)

...or a Dreambox AND a laptop with wifi!!!

The latest web interface is very slick. It even has a 'virtual remote control' with all the available buttons!

I´m back and thanks for all anwers.

I have a very distinct feeling that there should be a program doing this (and I wont sleep until I find it again) but I´ll try using the web interface. I only have one problem; there is no control/satfind option... I have PeterPan image:

What to do? Try another image?
