I've used Norton in the past, but all it did was slow down my PC and I certainly wouldn't use it again, so was surprised to see it on one of my PCs this morning when I booted up, particularly as I'd not to my knowledge installed it.
Turns out that Divx update installs it by default, it does have an option to untick, which I didn't spot, in fact wasn't expecting it so didn't see any mention of Norton at all.
So if you use Divx and don't want Norton on your PC, make sure that you untick the box when you update, just checked and it isn't on the first window of options, it cleverly pops up afterwards, so many like me, assume it's part of the installation process and click it without really looking.
