My Satellite Setup
Technomate 3150 and 5200D with standard 60cm dish and Sky quad LNB.
My Location
Dublin, Ireland
OK, going to give it a go myself.
Have decided on SD for present as there does not seem to be many HD stations at present and I know there are a lot of Freesat receivers out there, so it is just a case of comparing specs and deciding which I want. However, Any help/advice would not be rejected!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the installation?
The hardest part seems to be the cableing, so as I live in Dublin and have no dish but do have NTL cable tv, can I use their cable (ordinary coax) from outside into the house for either the dish or digital aerial that I will have to erect to get my basic local stations, (RTE1,2, etc)?
There seems to be a huge range of dish sizes, so which would be best?
Also, what zone would I need 1 or 2?
There is one advertised on e-bay with a quad LNB fo £39.95, which seems good value as I want to do 2 rooms. ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=330376880042&Category=29783&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2 )
If someone had time to copy and past the above and comment, I would appriciate it.
Any other info also appriciated.
Thanks to all

Well good for you, have a go, what is the worst that can happen? I have to say that for a quad lnb with four outputs 20mtr of cable is a paltry amount that leaves 5 mtr per output....pathetic, but certainly do not use the other cable you have. The dish is a zone 2 so should be adequate if correctly aligned
