DM 500-S no lock or sync

Just recently bought a dm500s clone box from ************s.co.uk and am trying to get a sky setup working on it. (note, all the original sky digiboxes are working fine).

I've tried several images, the usual suspects including Nabilo,Gemini and jade. When setting up and scanning Astra 28.2, I'm continuously getting the no lock or sync error.

SNR is around 70%, AGC 95% BER 0, but nothing. I've also tried replacing the channels.xml with a newer one.

One possible thing to note is that I have a standard zone 1 sky minidish with a universal quad LNB... dunno if I need custom LNB settings? but the standard sky digiboxes pick up the channels fine.
Either that or the tuner might be duff?

Any suggestions?
 
If the box is properly setup and You are using the same cable from the dish then it looks like a clone problem, perhaps not the tuner as You have SNR,AGC and Ber showing.

Try to change the setup in the box, check so it is setup as a singel dish and no switch. Walk thru it again carfully
