DM 500-S signal problem

Dear Friend i have DM500 s and getting problem in channel data storing

meaning that when i am searching new data of hotbird most of Frequecy's are not locked so there for its not storing all the channels data of hotbird
and show weak signal otherwise that signal is perfect.

so plz kindly give me the solution as i have seen a video on youtube in which a person showing that you should renew the Q72 trasister but its not available here in pakistan.So plz give me is there any other solution for it.

Is your dish big enough for Hotbird in pakistan??
 
The Dreambox has a weak tuner. If you are sure your dish is pointing at 13E, store the motor position if you you're using a motor. A dish works for another receiver does not always work with a Dreambox and may need the elevation and position adjusting. I adjust the dish position by turning to a channel that is not a good picture and then move the dish East or West using the <> keys in Motor setup until I get the best picture and then STORE the new satellite position (DM500s does not work with gotoxx). Can you receive any other satellites OK?

Install Dreambox Edit on yor PC and download a channel list- google "cajtons" or "captains settings".

Make a backup of your current channel list if you have one then or just upload the new channel list.

If you can not find the component.

Normally connect your FTA receiver and use the coaxial output that you connect to the coaxial input on your DM500

ok i will check it on some other friends Dish

yes i have checked another satilite of asian side which is asiasat3 and the signal of that sattilte is ok and its a c band transmition but on this satillite just only one frequcey is not working but all other are ok.

but any way i will check it on my other friend Dish then i will post reply

there is one way to solve dream low signal problem.

some hardware repairing . and dream work in signals like any other fta recievers.
