DM 500 - screen keep blinking

Dear all,

Hope you guys can help...
Downloaded new software. Erase all the data in the box. then try to scan for channel using auto scan..still nothing. Then try using the manual scan..then the screen just keep blinking. Even power off and on doesn't help.
Any idea what went wrong?
Anyway to do a hard reset?
My box only has a standby button on it.

First thing to check is the power supply.
It is the main problem source on these boxes.
The voltage is insuffecient to drive the box.
