Just had sent over a DM 500HD box from the UK.
Really looking forward to using it and retiring my Relook.
Couple of slight problems, the Ethernet port looks like its dead, no link lights, both my switch & router are not picking it up, no link lights on the router either.
Replaced cables to double check etc, no joy.
Lastly i decided to flash the firmrware to the latest version of the DM website, i get as far as the command line saying flashing from its memory, and nothing, do i need the ethernet port to be active to carry out a proper flash?
Any help would be great, i know its a good unit from all the reviews, just my luck i have a duff unit, or am i missing something?????
