Hi

This problem has driven me nuts but think I am almost there at solving it.
This is my setup.

2x 80cm dishes (1 on 28.2 and the other with 2 lnb's on 13 and 19.2)
each of the 3 lnb's is a quad output.
The four outputs of these lnb's are connected to 4 way diseqc switches which then go off to different rooms in the house.
One is connected to a DM800HD and this is working fine, another is connected to some cheap FTA receiver and this also works fine, however in the bedroom I have a DM600 and this is where the problem is.
I should first explain that the ouputs from each diseqc switch come through the wall of the house into a little cupboard where I have 8 cables all running to different rooms of the house and I connect the 4 outputs from the switches to whichever of the 8 cables I want satellite to be connected (this is done via bullet connectors) The wires I dont use are obsolete but it gives me the option to have TV in other rooms should I want in the future (I didnt design it this way the old owner did).
I hope you can understand so far.
Now the problem with the DM600 is that it is not switching the disecq between lnb's, I get the tune failed message I also look on the satfind menu and it is not locking on the satellites, if I leave it on a channel for a while it sometimes will eventually switch but more often than not it wont. If I bypass the wire and run a cable from DM600 directly to the wire from the disecq and connect it in the cupboard I mentioned earlier it works perfectly, So the problem is the wire from the cupboard to the DM600. I have tested this with a meter etc to make sure there are no shorts and it is fine and when it does show a channel the signal is very strong so my guess is the resistance is stopping the DM600 from switching the lnb. Replacing this wire is a no go as it runs under the floor through 3 other rooms.
So after this long explanation my question is are there any kind of powered boosters I could connect inline to help with the switching or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Sorry for such a ranting explanation and I hope you can all follow.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

The DM600 is very tricky with DiSEqC switches, not all work. The best switch is the SPAUN ,but expensive. You can try to send the DiSEqC commands more than one time, sometimes it works om DM600, sometimes not.The DiSEqC repeats will you find in LNB settings.
