Hi all, Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but did a quick search and did not find any info. So I thought to start a new thread.
Can someone please help me to find out the following:
1) What is (ie name/brand etc) of the decoder MPEG2 chip inside DM 7020S?
2)is the decoder and the encoder (ie D/A,A/D process) integrated into the same chip?
The reason for the above is that I am looking to put a Standard Definition-Serial Digital Inteface (SD-SDI) to my boxand I need this info to see if it can be done first.
If you are aware with SDi mods then you'll know that the quality of the picture is improved hugely as you bypass the A/D and D/A processes (ie the signal stays in the digital domain all the time).
