dm 800 timeshift crash help

hi pli beta2.1 dm 800 and samsung hdd
menue/set up/system/recording path/timeshift is on media hdd and dose not allow to change to movie hdd by remote controll and i made new folder movie but still crash and timeshift recordig dose not go into movie any help thx

Can you record? What path is your HDD mounted on?

hi i can record and it gose into hdd/movie but for timeshift crash wich says media /hdd
i don,t know what path my hdd mounted ,all i know after flash image i did menue /set up harddisk/initialization

Timeshift is meant to go to media/hdd, its only recording's that go to media/hdd/movie. You can change the timeshift path if you go to menu, system, recording path.

i did go to menu, system, recording path but it just allow you to change for timer recording ... not for timeshift by remote controll,and it is always says media hdd and when i press on timeshift/media/hdd something like places for recording and bookmark appear and the only option green bottom/delete bookmark and when you press again gose back to media/hdd and same thing again and again

Is it an internal drive? or is it an external drive? The reason that happens wen you are pressing on it is because you drive is not recognised correctly, if it was you would have options of where you want the timeshift to record to. I have never had any trouble with internal drives, but with an external it is ok sometimes then the next time i boot the box, the drive is missing.

it is internal ,how can i find out hdd mounting path,i have dcc,maybe i can do something with dcc

I would take the drive out and then format it with your pc, ext 3, not fat32 or ntfs, then put it back in your dm, and it will more than likely work correctly, Trying to format and initialise the drive through the dm is pretty hopeless.
