What image are you using on your Dreambox?

I used spektr.tv image based on Gemini Project image.
I'm afraid I can't tell more specific for technical cuz my english language not well. I want to tell a lot more but I'm afraid you will confuse to my explaination. I'm sorry to this.

This has got to be the most confusing thread I have read so far can anyone explain what he is saying. Sorry if its obvious but I have to ask since i dont understand.

I'll try to tell bout this trick

All of this trick need some LAN external harddrive enclosure or network attached storage or kind of them.
Just like DM500PVR thread, all you have to do is mounting HD first. Here all the point is...copy all /var tree to your HD but not /mnt cuz if it will happen, your /mnt in HDD will spilled out with all content of /var or we can call them 'mirror'....

u know why this happen??

if you don't have this enclosure, try with your PC HD first for trial
and give your report here
