Dm500 on indian air

Can any body say that 1.what dreambox500 can do on indian air? 2. what satellite package can it open in india 3.does it have any limitations?

It wont open any channels - you will still need a subs card for the Indian pay services. Or if you have a broadband connection you should be able to set up card shares across the internet

I want Telstaer 18 ,Telstar 10, Abs , ExpressAM3 ,Hotbird beaming ku in INDIA all channels is it possible with Dm 500 ?

If you have the appropriate sized dish for your location then yes - although you may struggle with Hotbird.

All channels no - many of the pay providers are secure scrambled.

Lets see what the Ku band packages use

Telstar 18:
D-sky - viaccess 2.5 - secure
Combos - conax - secure

Telstar 10:
C-SkyNet - viaccess 2.5 - secure

ABS:
GTSS - Irdeto 2 & Videoguard - both secure

Hotbird
may providers using many encryptions. Most secure although TPS & SRG Switzerland are currently open.

Is there any way i can use my conax distv and Tatasky cards card in dream box and then!!!!!!!!!!! i can do some magic with my Dm500. Here in North east India at my place we dont have Broadband. only dial up but too costly charges every second.so no ip tv .Give me some suggestion.

Yes you should be able to use your subs cards in a DB500 - but you will only get the channels that the cards are authorised for. (If your pay tv services has premium content that you dont pay for you wont get the extra channels).

I cant understand what u mean? i pay Rs 300 per month i get 160 channels will this channels available on DM ?Without paying.

The channels will only be available if you join a card share, but you would need broadband for that, otherwise, you will have to pay for a genuine subscription.

I thought it was quite obvious what I meant. You will get the channels you are subscribed to (plus any free to air stuff of course) nothing more.

Here in Europe sports and film channels are very often additional cost options (premium content). For example there in the UK we have Sky Digital. There are 3 main subscription rates:

Family pack - £21/month (for comparison thats about 1600 rupees/month)
Sports OR Movies £38/month (3000 rupees/month)
Everything £45/month (3550 rupees/month)

Now I dont know exactly how the Indian services are priced which is why I added the comment about premium content

Dear bro,Dreambox is intended for satellite enthusiasts,there is no simple formula to unscramble all channels although a few may be opened up,that too
is illegal if used for commercial purpose.
