Dm500 problem

Hi guys I'm totally new to this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I have a dream dm500 Box that I've used for a year or so but today I've gone too turn it on and nothing, no red power light on the front but the power pack is all lit up like it should be
There is a popping sound through the speaker's when I turn it on but no power light or picture .
Do I need to invest in a new 1 or is there a fix for it??

Almost all these sorts of issues are caused by power supply failure. (Often failure of the capacitors)

Unless you have electronics skills is probably not worth repairing it. - the repairs required will cost more than the price of a new box once labour is factored in.

DM500 has an external power adaptor , try another one .
