DM500S permenantly on standby!

Hi Guys,

My DM500S is permanently on standby no matter what i try i can't get it to power on.
I can flash/erase firmware with dreamup i can access the box with DCC and also the web interface but when i plug it in to the tv/sat nothing. It just sits with the standby led lit.

I also have a DM600S and i've tried its power supply and still the same.

Any one have any ideas?

oh, its an original DM500S, well according to the MAC address anyway LOL

If you can access the web interface can you watch any channels?

I tried to access the web interface again to check if i can watch any channels and guess what? I can't access it anymore, thought the ip may have changed but the router shows that the dreambox is not connected, can't use DCC but can still erase/flash with dream up, but after flash successful still only standby led light on constantly.

Thanks Guys seem to have got it sorted, seems the control board for the PIR is faulty.

will have to google see if i can get one somewhere!
