Hi, I have a couple of Dreambox 500C's I need to convert to S.

Does anyone know a reputable (& not a rip off) supplier for the satellite tuner module?

Preferably UK based.

they're soldered to the board aren't they on the 500?

id say you were better off flogging them on ebay as servers and buying a new 500s with the money?
 
Thought they were plug and play?

I don't mind a bit of solder work if needed. If they are over £20 though, I'll just buy a new clone they're only £50 each.

I thought DM500C's were banned on eBay?
