DM600T with Saorsat

My Satellite Setup
a sky mini dish + a Dreambox 600S with Gemini- 430 and CCcam 2.0.8
My Location
Cornwall UK
Just wondering if a DM600T will work with Saorsat and an aerial in Ireland?
 
I'm afraid not.
Saorview is Mpeg4 and a 600T is Mpeg2 only.
 
so it is broadcast in HD only?

Sorry ,thats what I meant to type Saorview ,not Saorsat,I have edited it now.
Irish DTT (Saorview) uses MPEG-4 video compression over a DVB-T broadcasting infrastructure.
All channels bar RTE2 are broadcast in SD,RTE2 is HD .
A 600T is only capable of decoding Mpeg-2 so its of no use.
