hi,i have the tv connected to the dm800 through the hdmi,all is good.i am installing 5.1 surround sound in room,i connected to old home theatre receiver(scart for dvd+coaxial for sound) dvd all is good 5.1.i know scart cannot do hd,so dm800 is still connected to the tv through hdmi,but i added an optical link from dm800 to old home theatre receiver to test for 5.1 broadcasts,but all i seem to get is stereo.
so before i fork out on a new hdmi home theatre amp,has anyone else got a dm800 running through a home theatre amp & getting 5.1 on 28.2 east?
