so ive had this problem with pixelation for a while now and its starting to annoy me. It comes and goes as it pleases. I tried PLI jade3 with cccam 2.1.3 at first, then newnigma2 with cccam 2.1.4, but no joy. i get the pixelation every so often (every few mins, but not at set intervals).

any ideas? ping on the server is at a steady 100-150ms. most notable pixelation appears on sly italia.

thanks!!

Probably a slow update on the keys - very common on card shares.

got a friend on the same share with no problems whatsoever....

could it be a tuner problem? or my internet connection?

Impossible to say with any certainty - it could be any number of things.

Is your friend using your c-line - if so that could be the problem :D

well, i got twin lnbs on my sats, and both "receiving" both points show the same symptoms. snr is between 10.2-11.6 (62-72%) depending on channel and agc is 99% across the board. both receiving points have diseqs, brand new lnbs (technomate 0.2) and high quaility copper cable.

thanks again for your help so far

Looks like your signal strength is ok. Therefore is probably a problem with your share provider. :D

If its a pay server you are on your own - only the server operator can help you.

hm not quite a pay server, an acquaintance of mine is running and got no problem asking for help... is there anything he can do on his end? i just started getting into the satellite world and im not really all that up to speed when it comes to the server side of things. i'm not quite sure of his level of expertise , so a few pointers i could throw at him would be appreciated

thanks again :D

Havent got a clue if the provider can do anything - its his responsibility to sort out problems if its at his server end :D

Its quite likely the server operator has too many folk sharing off one card - something has to give if one card is sharing to too many other boxes.

At the end of the day if you want a guaranteed 24/7 service then you should be subscribing to the desired services.

If there is other traffic on your network ,particulary streaming like youtube or iplayer, its not good for C/S. You can get spikes in your times.

the internet was my first thought aswell, but it "seems" to be fine.

what i randomly did last night was to download/install the default service list through the menu and the channels seem to be loading up faster now and havent had any pixelation as of yet, which is really really wierd. could this have been my problem? when i scan hotbird i get 2040 services which is pretty much every single one available, i dont see why downloading the service list would help in any way shape or form

unless i'm missing something here.....

thanks for your comments so far!
